News: 6 days agoAllen (reconditioning) is out for Saturday's preseason opener against Indiana, per Madeline Kenney of the New York Post.

Spin: Allen is not yet ready to make her first appearance of 2026 since rejoining New York. Her next chance to do so arrives during the May 3 exhibition in Connecticut.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: After averaging over 20 minutes per game in four consecutive seasons, Allen saw just 18.7 minutes per game with the Sky in 2025 with averages of 5.1 points and 2.6 rebounds, both of which were her lowest marks since the 2018 campaign. She also started in less than half of her regular-season appearances for the first time since 2019, but she did appear in every regular-season matchup for the second time in the past three seasons. The 33-year-old was an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026 season and agreed to terms with the Liberty, but she may not see enough opportunities to bounce back this year, especially since the team also brought in Satou Sabally while retaining Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones and Leonie Fiebich. Allen had some strong fantasy performances last year but also had some disappointing outings due to her inconsistent usage, making her a risky pick in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.
